Meet Kristy Venne
A lifelong educator, community connector, and advocate for student success. My goal is to ensure our students thrive in the classroom and beyond. I bring 3 unique perspectives to the role in order to make that happen:
1. Educator
I served as a classroom teacher for a decade, and a building/district administrator for another 10 years. In 2018, I had the honor of opening and becoming the first principal of Emerald Campus.
2. Entrepreneur
As the CEO and Founder of Jade Strategies, I now work to bridge the gap between k-12 schools, higher education, and the workforce.
3. Parent
My husband David and I have two teens currently in Dublin City Schools. We share a common goal to many - to ensure our kids are safe, receive the best education possible, and are prepared for the future.

On Team Venne, our campaign is by students for students. We are proud to announce we are a completely non-partisan student-led campaign! Kristy is running as a non-partisan candidate to bring our community together and truly put students first. Serving as a connector and consensus builder, Kristy aims to make informed decisions that will ultimately benefit the young minds whose futures are in the making.
